SCIC Science is Cool-Pocket Lab & Notebook

I came across this website going through new member requests on Facebook the other day the name alone made me curious. I went to the website and found this gem. They have notebooks that are equivalent to lab reports. I was even more excited when I seen they were integrated with PhET, Hooked On Science, Teacher Geek, and NGSS aligned for high and middle school. 

This is what they are currently offering educators:

• Create up to 35 notebooks for free. 
• Integrates with Google Classroom
• Create unlimited classes
• If you decide to purchase the PRO plan it is 150.00 a year

After looking at a couple of lab notebooks I noticed the following:  

• Students are doing science, they are the scientist and engineers.
• 3-D learning is taking place students are implementing science and engineering practices, DCI, and crosscutting concepts.  
• They have pre-made lessons/notebooks available.
• The lessons are scaffolding and use instructional strategies (Think-Pair-Share)
• I love the fact that students are using C.E.R. for their conclusion. EVIDENCE!!!

I haven't had time to use the product more than once myself due to my schedule this summer.  Hopefully, I will get to it next week. I just wanted to share this information.
